Water Innovation Specialist

Summary
The Water Innovation Specialist is responsible for conducting market studies of technology trends, adoptions and customer needs that could benefit from Research. Prepare reports for upper management regarding status of projects which is a critical support function necessary for the continued success of the NEOM Water Sector
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities
- Work directly with the R&D and Innovation Manager and project leaders to support the innovation growth of the Water sector.
- Conduct market studies of technology trends, adoptions and customer needs that could benefit from Research
- Identify business opportunities for new products & services that incorporate the use of advanced technologies particularly in the fields of Water
- He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible from innovation perspective (internally & externally)
- Support the team in building partnerships between Water and other companies to license technologies & IPs
- Support the partnerships between Water and universities to engage in co-creation and long-term collaboration initiatives
- Maintain a portfolio of Water cases, produce regular reports for progress & present findings to respective stakeholders
- Motivate & promote the adoption of advance and emerging technologies with business stakeholders
- Collaboration between all departments in Water
- Collaboration with Energy, Food and Education Sectors
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering
- MBA seen as favourable
- 3-5 years’ experience in a project, innovation, or entrepreneurial related setting.
- Master’s degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or computer science
- Entrepreneurial skills
- Experience in accelerator programs
- Innovative approach
