Contracts Manager

Summary

 

The role of the Contracts Manager is to manage commercial and sourcing activities within NEOM Energy as well as setting up and managing variety of contracts (framework agreements, supplementary manpower).

The Manager will act as the primary point of contact between NEOM Energy and the Procurement department.

 

 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

  • Coordinate and manage procurement activities within NEOM Energy
  • Ensure compliance with NEOM policies and standards
  • Support in identifying and screening potential suppliers based on project requirements
  • Negotiate contracts, terms and deadlines with vendors and suppliers
  • Process purchase orders
  • Liaise with NEOM legal department to ensure contract terms are favorable to NEOM Energy
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure contractual obligations are met, flag any risks to relevant parties
  • Act as Energy single point of contact for legal and procurement teams
  • Set up framework agreements with key consultancies
  • Set up and manage supplementary manpower agreement for NEOM Energy

 

 

 

Education & Experience

 

  • University degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Economics or Engineering
  • 5+ years of work experience in procurement department/related field
  • Prior experience in Energy (degree in engineering would be an asset)
  • Ideally experience in several market regions (MENA/GCC and Europe)
  • Knowledge of SAP Hana software
  • Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques
  • Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
  • Ability to manage end-to-end procurement processes
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English, another language will be an asset
