Digital Designer

Summary

 

In your role as a Digital Designer, your day-to-day tasks will consist of collaborating with other teams to define requirements, run workshops and iterate on design solutions in order to meet the quality standards and tight deadlines within visual and UX design best-practices running within the Customer Solutions and Transformations team.

 

 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

 

  • Work closely with the internal UX/UI team, helping them to bring their designs to life by way of your digital design toolbox.
  • Quickly translate ideas into sketches, wireframes, mock-ups, and interactive prototypes.
  • Create website assets from hero design to web animations and video.
  • Create digital assets (static, video, and HTML) for a range of platforms including websites and apps, social media, display advertising etc.
  • Create email designs and coordinate the creation of email templates in HTML with the relevant brand functions.
  • Design and develop homepages, landing pages, and email concepts.
  • Create and execute concepts for digital design in a NEOM age.
  • Become an active part of the agile team structure, delivering innovative digital solutions, products and services.
  • Test assets and optimize based on their performance.
  • Turn ‘user data’ into insights that can be quickly executed at an operational level
  • Iterate new designs based on user feedback and insights.
  • Research industry trends to present up to date ideas and concepts for timely digital innovation.
  • Become the Digital enthusiast within the team, sharing your findings and exciting colleagues and stakeholders alike with your knowledge and enthusiasm of the subject.
  • Design and collaborate with other digital teams on the creation of a shared digital assets library (repository).

 

 

 

Education & Experience

 

 

  • A bachelor’s degree (preferably in the arts) is required as well as at least 5 years’ experience, working in-house or agency side.
  • Expertise with standard digital design tools, including Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premier Pro, Adobe After Effects and Figma, etc.
  • Experience creating digital assets for a variety of target audiences.
  • Experience in the design thinking process, agile development, and lean start-up methodologies.
  • Experience working directly with developers to implement designs.
  • Strong knowledge of current digital design best practices and web production techniques.
  • Working knowledge of CSS and HTML.
  • Experience with user-centred design, rapid prototyping, and user testing.
  • A good understanding of visual design principles.
  • Strong portfolio showing the breadth of digital design capabilities.
