Job Location: NEOM, Sharma

 

Role Purpose:

To build Government Affairs Protocol & Etiquette procedure and to provide efficient, flexible, and proactive support to the Executive Director and Managers and to assist and provide cover for other members of the Government Affairs Team. To respond to enquiries to and by the Executive Director and members of the Senior Management Team promptly and politely and to ensure proper Protocol & Etiquette for official engagements, among other duties.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, arrange and implement conferences, meetings, ceremonial events, and functions in their entirety.
  • Represent organization events.
  • Research and manage gift selection.
  • Ensuring special amenities are provided for visitors is necessary.
  • Arranging transportation, security and housing accommodations is frequently required.
  • Flag positioning and placement.
  • Prepares presentations for the department’s management.
  • Suggests to the Manager improvements in the internal department processes.
  • Participates in projects and initiatives beyond the day-to-day operational tasks and guidelines related to GA.
  • Preparing any follow-on action recommendation.
  • Determine project priority.
  • Be part of the Government affaires team by participating in all GA related areas.
  • Communicate with other NEOM departments.
  • Provide the division manager with regular reports and statistics on the progress of the projects and partnerships


Background, Skills & Qualifications:

  • Ability to work effectively in both informal and highly official settings.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledgeable of Government stakeholder management.
  • Knowledgeable of Saudi and Middle East culture and history.
  • Fluent in English and Arabic oral and writing.
  • High standard of character and conduct.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Responsible, goal oriented and organized.
  • Excellent time management.
  • Pays strong attention to details and able to multitask.
  • Build and sustain effective communications with other roles involved in the project.
  • High flexibility, commitment, and accessibility.

 

 

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree with no less than 6 years of experience in Government Protocol & Etiquette or relevant area.
