Heritage Content Specialist
Position: Heritage Content Senior Manager

Role Purpose:
The role of Heritage Content Manager has been created to support the work of the NEOM Heritage in achieving its cultural vision by creatively driving the development and delivery of compelling interpretation across a multitude of platforms inclusive of museums, exhibitions, brochures, conferences, publications, programs, and digital media. Develop and deliver interpretive heritage materials, programs, and projects to promote the visitor experience through telling stories about the NEOM heritage and culture. Steer development and review processes for visitor experiences and take the role of copyeditor on text expressing the cultural vision for NEOM.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES:
Set the section’s annual objectives and KPI’s and ensure objectives are cascaded and properly implemented
Set the section’s operational plans and ensure appropriate measures are taken to correct insufficient operating results
Scope opportunities and develop creative initiatives that unlocks NEOM Heritage potential as a crossroads of knowledge transfer and cultural enrichment
Tell stories in various communications channels (Print, Digital, exhibits, social, public relations etc.)
Development of briefs and concepts for cultural programs, initiatives, and destinations
Scriptwriting for publications, presentations, and graphics
Steer the interpretive development of the cultural assets and engagement of specialist as required
To produce, review and input into briefs for interpretative platforms inclusive of travelling exhibitions, temporary events, conferences, and digital media
To produce, review and edit documents, mapping, media, and programs that relate to NEOM’s cultural position and articulation
To commission and supervise the delivery of section’s strategies, content development, programs, and exhibitions.
Building and maintaining relationships with leading experts, organizations, and partners in relevant fields
Strategizing and implementing community engagement and educational development projects with the aims of increasingly knowledge, diversifying skills and building capacity
Representing the interests of NEOM as a cultural destination at external facing events.
BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
8 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Written and Oral proficiency of English language.
Qualifications and Experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Heritage Management, Archaeology, Anthropology, and relevant field (Masters Preferred)
