Lead MEP Quality Assurance

Division:  Public Works and Initiatives Execution


Quality assurance compliance from design review to the inspection of materials and installation aligned with project and NEOM quality assurance requirements, international codes and standards.

Final review of complete scope for mechanical & electrical works, prepare specifications and quantify related works. Participate in procurement review of mechanical & electrical devices, equipment and accessories related to the designed systems. Implement latest applicable design and engineering Codes & Standards for all Assets of NEOM. Manage, test, inspect, commission and document the timely construction of electrical systems associated with all NEOM Assets Support the QA engineers in the field with site material, installation compliance. Field problem solving and identifying solutions.

Participate in the innovation and implantation of new technologies in Electrical Engineering field.

Assists where required and stand in for Department manager.



  • Thorough knowledge of mechanical and electrical International Codes and Standards.
  • Coordinate and assist with components of construction project compliance related to mechanical, electrical and plumbing, or MEP elements of a project.
  • Review designs at stages of completion (30% - 100% IFC) against applicable codes and project requirements.
  • Planning and reviews for compliance during Initiation and planning phases of the project.  
  • Perform reviews for qualification of vendors, manufacturers and material specification.
  • Colates and team response to Technical reviews from vendors and material specifications.
  • Conduct site installation inspections, identify and escalate violations in mechanical and electrical disciplines.
  • Demonstrate decisiveness in accepting and rejecting works and methods based on set requirements.
  • Raise non compliances or site observations to management, analysis reports and general reports for non-compliances as and when required.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to the department and support to department as and when required.



  • Bachelor's Degree (Masters level is a plus) in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Certification as Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent
  • Membership in related professional association/s
