Manager, Projects Coordination

Sector:  NEOM Operations

Summary

To be the focal point for planning, design, and construction activities for NEOM Community projects, liaise with the technical team and relevant stakeholders, and ensure project progresses in accordance with the project requirements & constraints

 

 

Responsibilities

  • Engages with internal/external stakeholders to acquire and set project requirements
  • Lead and coordinates the planning and technical teams to ensure comprehensive review and excellence in design and execution. Ensuring compliance to industry codes and standards both national and international
  • Maintains scope of works, records, drawings, specifications, and documents
  • Schedules, attends, or leads relevant meetings with executors & stakeholders
  • Oversee design development and construction to ensure alignment with the scope and preservation of NEOM Operations’ stake in the project.
  • Review relevant documents, provide feedback and recommendation
  • Continuously update documents, communicate, and maintain an archive
  • Coordinates between relevant stakeholders and ensure timely and efficient resolution of problems and issues
  • Assist in the development of scope of works, procurement of contracts, presentations, responding to bidder queries and conducting technical evaluation
  • Apply modern concepts and best practices in all activities
  • Ensure compliance with international codes, standards, and best practices
  • Develop PowerPoint presentations and provide frequent progress reports and updates to management
  • Develop job descriptions and recruit personnel
  • Develop and manage the associated project management team
  • Manage personnel schedules, leaves and activities
  • Proactively manage and lead a team of multidisciplinary backgrounds.
  • Identify strengths, gaps, and weaknesses of team members and work with the team on plans to address shortfalls in performance and expectations
  • Collaboratively work with assigned team members to set annual performance goals and objectives (and conduct incremental performance reviews)
  • Coach and mentor team members

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or equivalent
  • Advanced degree is preferred
  • Ability to interact with senior representatives of client organizations
  • Knowledge of project design and construction document production, standard construction techniques and principals
  • 10 years’ experience plus hold a position as Manager/Project Manager in engineering and management
  • Proficient in MS Professional Office Suite & Autodesk software
  • Working in an environment with people of different backgrounds
  • Excellent communications skills and management experience
  • Speak and write English fluently
