Project Engineer, Technical Affairs

Summary
To support Planning & Technical Affairs in coordinating and overseeing the execution of NEOM Community Projects.
Responsibilities
- Develop/review project scope of work, design, and construction documents
- Oversee the execution of the project
- Monitor and track project progress schedule
- Coordinate the design review of facilities
- Coordinate the inspection of facilities with the inspections department
- Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure their involvement and participation throughout the project stages
- Lead and coordinate all walkthroughs
- Review and approve construction related documents including material submittals, request for information, variation orders and invoices
- Maintain and archive construction documents, and liaise with the relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate project closeout with relevant stakeholders
- Liaise with the responsible authority to update and maintain masterplans of facilities and assets
- Review and approve the invoice submitted by the Contractor
- Attend project design and site meetings, take/review minutes and provide updates to management
- Ensure project activities are aligned with the scope of work
- Ensure scope of works document are reviewed by the relevant stakeholders
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations and reports to management
- Performs other duties as required by direct supervisor
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering, Civil, Mechanical, architecture, construction management or equivalent
- PMP Professional certificate is an advantage
- Knowledge of project design and construction processes and phases
- Ability to interact with senior representatives of client organizations
- Minimum 3 years’ experience engaged in project supervision and management
- Proficient in MS Professional Office Suite
- Working in an environment with people of different backgrounds
- Developing PowerPoint Presentations
- Understanding and Reviewing Project Schedule
- Fluent in written and spoken English
