Role Purpose

As a hotel technical specialist, support the management team responsible for advising hotel technical development and operations. Role requires the individual to provide assistance to the development team and to implement agreed operational plans through directing and coordinating the hotel technical services in order to meet required quality standards and service delivery expectations

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Service Delivery

In support of the Senior Manager, Technical Operations (Hotels) :-

  • Advising and providing technical support services to the hotel development teams
  • Deliver on the hotel development and the transition to operations
  • Implement the Operational Plan (OP) to establish effective hotel technical operations
  • Coordinate the dedicated technical service resources (staff & equipment)
  • Maintain all levels of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) aligned to agreed priority levels (P1/P2/P3) and maintenance types (L1-Statutory/L2-Business Critical/L3- Normal)

Planning and Budgeting

In support of the Senior Manager, Technical Operations (Hotels) :-

  • Implement the set formal and measurable service level matrixes (SLAs & KPIs) for internal and external resources
  • Implement all associated required technical operations Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Assist in compliance to the hotel operations budget – OPEX costs and appropriate CAPEX costs
  • Coordinate resources to maintain effective technical operations - NEOM FTE/SME and Service Partner Staff
  • Follow up on Service Level Agreements (SLA) scoped activities deliverables – report on performance and non-compliance

Quality Control & Assurance

In support of the Senior Manager, Technical Operations (Hotels) :-

  • Ensure compliance with NEOM defined policies and processes
  • Deliver effective quality control and assurance within the hotel technical services function
  • Support, through awareness and proactive actions, NEOM Environmental initiatives as directed by Senior Operations Management
  • Support, through awareness and proactive actions, NEOM Sustainability initiatives as directed by Senior Operations Management

People Management

In support of the Senior Manager, Technical Operations (Hotels) :-

  • Communicate staff resource expectations inclusive of role definitions, performance monitoring and development
  • Instill a positive and proactive service culture within the hotel technical services function
  • Deliver a high-performing hotel technical team
  • Implement technical staff performance objectives - providing necessary support, evaluation, feedback
  • Promote NEOM values within the hotel technical operations teams

Relationship Management

  • Line Manager – Senior Manager – Technical Operations (Hotels)
  • NEOM Operations Hotel Management team
  • NEOM Operations FM team
  • Maintain relationships with key hotel technical operations suppliers
  • Maintain relationships with key hotel technical operations service providers
  • Maintain relationships with key external and internal regulators
  • Maintain relationships with key external and internal utility support entities

BACKGROUND, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

  • Minimum 7 years of project support experience – Hotels Development, and/or
  • Minimum 7 years of hotel operational experience
  • Strong service delivery acumen demonstrated while serving as a trusted confidant and advisor to the Senior Line Manager
  • Proven coordination skills to simultaneously manage a wide number of different services delivery resources covering hotel project development and operations.
  • A creative and agile approach to daily hotel challenges
  • A proven ability to motivate and develop staff
  • Basic appreciation of service cost control and optimization
  • Effective communication and IT skills.

  • Relative Engineering Degree
