Strategy & Organization Manager

Summary

 

 

We are looking for a Strategy & Organization Manager to be part of the Strategy & Organization unit, which is part of the Corporate Development department, and contribute to the following objectives:

•             Manage the Strategic planning processes of the ENOWA Company with a focus on energy and assist the roll-out and continuous development of the Strategy & Organization unit.

•             Ensure alignment of the ENOWA organization, processes and procedures with its strategy and goals.

•             Ensure the performance of the ENOWA is measured by the right set of metrics.

•             Ensure the deployment of a seamless strategic planning to budgeting process.

 

 

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

 

Strategy and Strategic Planning

 

 

•             Support strategy alignment and execution by ensuring projects in themselves and overall are aligned with the sector’s and NEOM’s 2030 vision and annual strategic targets

•             Contribute to the update of the ENOWA 5-year strategy and strategic plan (and subsequent strategies) and perform regular mid-cycle reviews and refresh

•             Assist in the develop of the business plans of the ENOWA company

•             Assist in the LT, MT and LT planning and budgeting tasks

•             Contribute to the development of ad-hoc strategies for the ENOWA company as needed

 

 

Organization Alignment

 

 

•             Enable the alignment of the organization of the ENOWA company with its strategic intent , strategic objectives and targets

•             Continuously analyze and propose changes and improvements to the organizational structure, its size, headcount, skills to keep it aligned with the strategy and the business needs of the ENOWA company

•             Develop and continuously maintain units’ functional statements and job descriptions

•             Support the HR department in the development of the personal scorecards of the E&W employees and linked them to the corporate KPIs and scorecards

 

 

Performance Monitoring

 

 

•             Measure and monitor the performance of the ENOWA company against the agreed strategic, financial and operational KPIs and their targets.

•             Analyze performance gaps and develop periodic recovery plans.

•             Build performance scorecards and provide regular performance reporting to the management.

 

 

Processes & Tools

 

 

•             Contribute to the selection and implementation of strategic management tools.

•             Contribute to the development and the embedment of strategic thinking and problem-solving methodologies across E&W.

•             Maintain corporate-wide policies, processes and procedures and ensure management manuals are always updated and communicated.

 

 

Risk Management

 

 

•             Assist the management of ENOWA to keep update the NEOM’s existent risk management framework, tools and templates and contribute to risk mitigation measures.

 

 

Education & Experience

 

 

  • Bachelor or Master Degree in Engineering / Finance / Economics / Management, etc.
  • 8+ years’ relevant work experience – Consulting firms or internal strategy department of an energy / Utilities Corporation
  • English fluency (orally and written)
  • Knowledge of strategy and strategic planning concepts, methodologies and tools
  • Knowledge of Organizational design, structuring and sizing methodologies
  • Knowledge of KPIs and performance management concepts and methodologies
  • Proven experience in strategy formulation and implementation, business planning, performance management, organization and/or implementation experience gained either in the consulting sector or in in operational roles
  • Strong collaboration skills based on a collaborative and open mindset; ability to build effective working relations with multiple stakeholders, across departments, with differing interests
  • Strong organization, prioritization and time management skills to monitor and handle multiple projects at the same, balance key priorities and meet challenging and changing deadlines
  • Strong analytical, structured thinking and problem-solving skills; thoroughness and ability to deliver quality output
  • Ownership and self-management capabilities - a high degree of ownership for tasks, the ability to work independently and to prioritize tasks in a highly dynamic environment
  • Good IT skills - knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project); knowledge of data analysis software
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
  • Experience in the energy and/or water sectors is a plus
  • Flexibility - willingness to relocate to the NEOM community in the northwest of Saudi Arabia
