Role Purpose:

Support the successful implementation of the Land Mobility strategy for mobility-at-height within/ of the Line to develop vertical transit-oriented communities of the future for the Line at Neom.



Key Accountabilities & Activities:

  • Coordinate and align scopes of work with the UP sector in compliance with the LM strategy for Mobility-at-Height to develop resilient transit-oriented communities within the Line
  • Support procurement and scope writing for LM projects and systems
  • Review and analyze submissions from UP consultants (architects/ masterplanners & mobility/ transport planners, real estate, sustainability) to align with LM strategy
  • Support the drafting of urban design and place making guidance documentation to optimize movement and place performances to establish resilient spatial movement network and seamless mobility operations
  • Develop system strategies and policies for multi-modal autonomous and micro-mobility systems (AEM and DRT and other) and building systems (elevator types, gondolas etc) for typologies of vertical communities
  • Develop the specification and asset briefs of mobility hubs for typologies of place and communities, including eVTOLs and e-boat interchanges
  • Research and establish benchmarks, KPIs and metrics for specification of
    • novel TOCs at height
    • Sustainability criteria and performances, particularly social and economic
    • Compile into database for policy drafting and Impact Assessment
  • Lead establishment of Impact Assessment framework for TOC & Mobility-at-Height
  • Neom Move: help guide operational and policy development for the Mobility-as-a-Service (MaaS) platform and end-user app based on TOC and Mobility-at-Height requirements



Background, Skills & Qualifications:

  • > 7-10 years relevant work experience in Place Making and masterplanning with some TOC/ TOD or transport projects experience
  • Good working knowledge of quantitative/ evidence-based methods for place making and masterplanning
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • High-level communication and presentation skills and ability to interact with a diverse set of professional disciplines, partners and stakeholders
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet competing deadlines

  • Graduate degree in a related discipline such as architecture or urban planning
  • Preferably a post-graduate degree in urban development, transport planning or data science
  • Fluency in English
